Why would she wait until she's standing at the altar to bring this up
and make the decision not to marry him?
Like most hard-lefties, it's not enough for her to have her beliefs. She
has to make sure everyone knows about them, too, so she can feel
morally superior. She wanted to make a grand show out of how virtuous
she believes herself to be in order to feed her own bloated ego.
Can you imagine being married to a person like that? Dude dodged a serious
bullet there.
I'm sorry but I have to disagree. It's not that she's a "leftie" but
that she's either 1) looking to create drama for the show or 2)
someone who's gone over the edge (which has nothing to do with being a
"leftie."
She has the idea (which sadly many people do) that any long term
partner needs to be a perfect match.
I doubt that. It's what you first said: She's created phony drama. She's
playing the villain. She never intended to get married.
Reality television is entirely fictional.
I originally thought it was going
to turn out that he had different views than her and she couldn't deal
with that. It turns out that he, like most people, didn't have strong
views on the COVID vaccine or BLM or the other things that she
apparently felt strongly about, and that was enough to break up.
Of course not. Shit like this doesn't come up in the ordinary course of
conversation unless one is specifically having a political discussion.
Since a married couple would never discuss politics except under highly
limited circumstances, it's not a sign that the spouses are
incompatible. Now, if he's frugal and she spends double their income,
that's an incompatibility indicating they shouldn't marry.
No, she had no intention of marrying him. She created phony drama, then
dumped him.
I'm not quite going to agree with BTR1701 here: If they had gone through
with the marriage, then the two of them deserved each other. Real Men
(tm) don't find love by humiliating themselves on national television.
Actual life is so humiliating, one doesn't need reality television.
Rest of your comments snipped as I generally agree and have nothing else
t add.
