I don't know who has Apple TV but there's a new series there that might interest you if you like medical shows. It's a German series whose German title is Krank: Berlin (translation is "Sick: Berlin"). It is called Berlin: ER in English. If you liked ER or are a fan of The Pitt, this show might be right up your alley.
I speak some German but not nearly enough to follow this show so I'm using subtitles. I'm assuming Apple gives you both subtitled and dubbed versions so you're obviously free to choose either.
The setting is the busiest ER in Berlin. I don't suppose you'll be surprised to find that you won't recognize any of the actors unless you watch a lot more European TV than I do.
You'll find the usual chaos that we see in shows like ER but with a somewhat different feel. They light this show rather differently and there's some jerky camera work that I assume is meant to emphasize the chaotic nature of the ER.
You'll find yourself torn about some of the characters. The first person we see in the pilot is skinny, has neck and arm tattoos and has a spaced-out look and mannerism that seems like someone who is high on drugs. He turns out to be one of the doctors. Another doctor is very polite and has a very kind bedside manner but turns out to be dangerously incompetent. The new chief of the ER clearly has some skeletons in her closet. And so on.
There are eight hour-long episodes in the first season. I've watched the first six and find it pretty watchable.
IMDB rates the show 6.9.
