Agreed! That cop is REALLY good at thinking on his feet!
This clip reminds me of one I saw a year or two back. A supply teacher in a school (middle school or high school if I remember correctly) takes attendance and one of the kid meows. The teacher looks puzzled and one of the students explains that the kid "identifies" as a cat. The teacher absolutely refuses to go along with that - and is promptly fired for being insensitive to the kid's identity. If it were me, I would have played along just long enough to prove the absurdity of the claim. Specifically, I would have waited until the "cat" asked to go to the bathroom, then improvised a litter box in a corner of the classroom and told the cat to do its business right there in front of everyone. (As we both know, cats are not afraid to answer the call of nature with humans looking on.)
Another option would have been to boot the kid out of class right away since school is for humans, not cats.
