Oops, I meant PLEASANT surprise!
I think we figured that out.
That said, the "campers" at my Alma Mater didn't VOLUNTARILY disband
their encampment (which I say SHOULD have been forcibly done before
graduation exercises since the encampment was 50 yards at most from
the graduates' march from their dressing area to the site of the
exercises) July 8th which was of course nearly a month after the
ceremonies. (It was also close by Hillel House - no gold star for
guessing which group the campers terrified)
When the pro-Hamas crowd was demonstrating on the Avenue Road bridge over the 401, one small but critical fact slipped into one report that I saw: the overpass ran between two Jewish neighbourhoods (or one Jewish neighbourhood separated by the 401). Pretty much everyone ignored that fact and every media outlet ignored the distress this must have caused the people in the neighbourhood.
Imagine being Jewish and see pro-Hamas demonstrators through your windows and then watching police bringing them coffee and doughnuts when they should have been arresting them for blocking a public road!
