 Funny - here I thought my 12-15 year old self was a huge fan of that
show primarily for the joy of ogling Diana RIgg in her short skirts!

 "The Avengers" wasn't "sci-fi". It was a secret agent series, so some places do call it "spy-fi", which could cause the confusion if reading too quickly. Either that or some fool website 'journalist' or idiotic Assifical (non)Intelligence app is confusing it with the Marvel "Avengers".

Technically the super hero franchises are a sub-class of "sci-fi" since they do often have futuristic vehicles and devices, aliens (Superman *is* an alien), loads of techno-babble, etc.
