Wow, that was fast! It's only been available a couple of days and they've already committed to Season 2. That's a lot quicker than the norm.
I'm also a little surprised that they are going to end it with Season 2. Usually, given a hot show, networks try to prolong them as long as possible to get the maximum amount of money and viewers out of them. Kudos to the network for examining the story and realizing it shouldn't be stretched beyond that second season.
Well, the article quotes the creative team saying that about 14 episodes is all they need to tell the story. So it seems to have been their decision, not Netflix's. And if all they want to do is tell the story from the graphic novel, it's probably a good idea not to try to create new material.

If only American TV / movies makers could learn that fact. They quite often make up their own ill-fitting nonsense just to keep making a series. :-(
