The one actress is still there but the other one just disappeared. Not
sure they even addressed why she wasn't there on the show. It was at
the same time they had the remaining actress join up with Rennie.

Rennie was a recurring character in season 1. I don't know if the
actress you are talking about quit the show or was fired but it allowed
them to move Rennie up to main cast. The 50 year old blonde has no
required function that another character couldn't do as she never shares
scenes with Coulter.

I have no idea what they were thinking.
