Well, duh.

Disney+ had a two-season deal in this co-production. That has ended. One
assumes that Russell T. Davies' period as showrunner has also ended.
Ncuti Gatwa isn't umder contract either.

I don't see why the show can't be revived if the new showrunner promises
to emphasize entertainment in the long history of Doctor Who, with no
wokeness at all. In the original series, there was plenty of social
commentary, both comedy and drama. It can be embraced by the audience if
the audience isn't being hectored.
