Denzel Washington is going to be in the new movie, but I don't think anyone has said they are casting the 70 year old as the new Black Panther.  Although they *should* have recast the role for the second movie.  Denzel's son would have made a good choice for the new Black Panther.  Actually, now that I think about it, maybe this is a backdoor way of casting father and son.  Perhaps John could be the new Black Panther and Denzel his father.  Although if that was the case we would have heard about it by now.
