I was truly shocked to see news of this horrific attack just now:

The attacker has been apprehended; no bonus points for guessing that
his first name is Mohamed.
I hope he gets the death penalty and that the victims recover quickly.
The report I read does not mention fatalities so I'm hoping the injuries
aren't too bad although I imagine the psychological trauma is going to
be very difficult to overcome if it can be overcome at all.
I just heard a report on NPR Morning Edition that the regular weekly
march was held Sunday and that they were joined by members of a branch
from Denver. There was also an already-scheduled Jewish cultural
festival that took on a more somber note. A rabbi read out the names of
those injured. They marched right to the place of the firebombing.
There were police snipers on roofs. I think that would have bothered me
and I don't see how a sniper is a countermeasure to a firebombing attack
if there was concern for a copycat crime.
