Fringe S4E12 'Welcome to Westfield'
IMDb sez: "Peter, Olivia and Walter come face to face with a mysterious and terrifying Fringe event as they get trapped in a town that there's no escaping."
The glyphs for this episode spell out: OLIVE
The events occurring in Westfield may have been inspired by the Internet legends of Irkhammer, Iowa, Ashley, Kansas, and Doveland, Wisconsin, all of which have elements in the story and all of which were popular around the time of the airing of this episode.
The theme of the episode "Welcome to Westfield" regards a town that the population cannot leave which is similar to the premise of "Wandavision" which takes place in the fictional town of Westview, New Jersey, which based on the real town of Westfield NJ.
(I think that's a little more reality than I want in a sci-fi horror show.)
Fringe S4E13 'A Better Human Being'
IMDb sez: "As the Fringe team investigates a mentally ill patient who appears to be connected to a series of murders, frightening clues and connections are uncovered that lead Olivia to some shocking revelations."
(Like the fact that the Olivia from the Dawson's Creek guy's timeline has been starting to take over her mind for the last few episodes?) (Oh, and the human hive killing people.)
The glyphs for this episode spell out: HENRY
When Peter leaves the convenience store while searching for Olivia, there is a sign for Slusho Brand drinks. This is a recurring easter egg in JJ Abrams Productions, most notably as a tie-in with his film Cloverfield.  (Sorry, I refuse to accept any theory that 'Fringe' and 'Cloverfield' are in the same universe.  That's just a universe too far!)
Fringe S4E14 'The End of All Things'
IMDb sez: "Peter and the Fringe team take extraordinary measures in an attempt to stop life-threatening events."  Geez, talk about generic. David Robert Jones has Olivia and Nina prisoner.  He tries to reactivate Olivia's powers.  The Nina in the cell with Olivia is the Redverse Nina, partnered with Jones.  Peter makes contact with the (apparently) dying September and learns too much about the Observers.
The glyphs for this episode spell out: UNITE
The brain activity readout on the computer screen has "Mr. X" as September's name.
In the lab, Walter makes a snack consisting of white bread, butter and sprinkles. This is known as Fairy Bread, a common children's treat in Australia which is where John Noble is from.
David Robert Jones: Every horse needs a carrot; every mouse a piece of cheese.
Dr. Walter Bishop: Oh, dear God, I have no idea if this man's physiology is similar to ours at all.
Peter Bishop: It is. At least, that's what you told me in my timeline.
Dr. Walter Bishop: Oh. I suppose I have no reason to doubt myself.
Fringe S4E15 'A Short Story About Love'
IMDb sez: "The team hunts a killer who seems to be targeting couples - dehydrating the husbands and smothering the wives - with a very unusual motive. Peter and Olivia try to come to terms with her surfacing memories and emotions from the original time-line and the fact that she's beginning to forget parts of her life from the new time-line. Meanwhile, Walter and Peter try to figure out September's disappearance from the lab the week before."
The glyphs for this episode spell out: QUILL
When Nina and Olivia meet in the opening sequence at a restaurant, white tulips in water are on the table. Again, a reference to "White Tulip" (Season 2, Episode 18).
When Walter is looking at the slowed down footage of the Observers removing September's body from the lab, you can see Scooby Doo on the monitor over Walter's right shoulder.
Nina Sharp: Now as for your feelings about Peter, all wounds heal over time.
Olivia Dunham: Yeah. I just wish the time would move a little quicker.
Nina Sharp: Well, that's a coincidence, because we just filed a patent on that last week.
Astrid Farnsworth: Uh, Walter wants to know which of you has fearless nasal passages?
Dr. Walter Bishop: Mortius bestia -- roadkill. Specifically, an aromatic excretion from the castor sacs of the North American beaver used primarily for marking and mating. I went beaver hunting in Eastern Canada in the '70s. Of course, in those days, 'beaver' meant something else entirely.
Fringe S4E16 'Nothing As It Seems'
An incident occurs that bears remarkable similarities to an early case in the original time-line, though there are some notable differences. Olivia's memories of the new time-line continue to fade, and Broyles places her on temporary leave, but her memories of original case assist Peter and Lincoln. Lincoln gets infected with a virus and Walter must figure out a cure.
The glyphs for this episode spell out: FUTURE
The running gag continues in this episode where Walter calls Astrid "Aphid".
What Did You Watch?

I've done good in this world. Now I'm tired and just want to be a cranky dirty old man.
