This,
of course, is the very definition of insurrection under the U.S.
Code but
none
of our legacy media came anywhere close to using that term to
describe it.
Insurrection is a crime they apparently believe only conservatives can
commit.
Let's take a look at who ICE was violently attacked for arresting:
(1) An illegal alien from the Philippines, who has prior
convictions for
sexual penetration with a foreign object, assault with intent
to commit
rape,
and burglary in various jurisdictions around California.
(2) An illegal alien from Mexico and known gang member with cartel
ties who
has convictions in Los Angeles for sexual battery, receiving stolen
property,
and theft.
(3) A previously deported illegal alien from Mexico and known
gang member
with
convictions for assault with a deadly weapon and possessing drug
paraphernalia.
(4) An illegal alien from Mexico with a conviction in Los Angeles for
assault
with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury.
(5) An illegal alien and aggravated felon from Mexico with a human
trafficking
conviction.
(6) An illegal alien from Ecuador with convictions in Florida for
conspiracy
to possess and distribute 5 kilos of cocaine.
(7) An illegal alien from Mexico with convictions in Orange County for
firing
a gun at an occupied dwelling, battery on spouse, willful
child cruelty,
DUI,
and assault with a firearm. He has had a deportation order since
2020 but
the
Biden crew just couldn't find the time to enforce it.
These are the people Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom are defending,
who they
say should be left alone and allowed to roam our
neighborhoods, and who
hundreds of people showed up to attack ICE and the FBI for
removing from
those
neighborhoods.
What kind of sick society have we become when the police
literally have
rocks
thrown at their heads for arresting violent thugs and rapists?
Why shouldn't we assume your rogue's gallery is just a cherry-picked
lineup of rotten cherries?
You should most definitely assume that. ICE literally picked those
cherries
out of the crowd of the hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of
illegals
in Los Angeles County.
They sent a bunch of agents to deport just those seven?
Those were the seven they picked up yesterday that earned the ire of the
mayor
and the governor, which in turn incited the violence against the agents.
Well, although the whole issue remains (imo) far more complex than the
simplistic rendering it usually gets, I'd have to congratulate ICE on
its P.R. trap in this instance.
Yes, because that's their motivation for all this. <rolls eyes>
It seems to be *somebody's* motivation that "example" illegals are
invariably moral derelicts of one sort or another.
Lemme get this straight... the open borders crowd cries foul that mean old
ICE
is deporting "hard-working families just trying to find a better life", so
ICE
says, okay, we'll shift our focus to deporting the straight-up evil criminal
shitbag illegal aliens and deport them, and the moviePigs of the world then
say that's *also* unacceptable because it "traps" Democrat politicians into
looking bad when they stand up to oppose ICE.
Wow.
"Relax, Trump's monkeys are eating only the *rotten* bananas..."
So we should not enforce the immigration laws of the United States against
anyone at all because at a minimum, it'll trick Democrats into rooting for the
wrong people.
Gotcha.
Sure. If you can buy that Trump won't go after "hard-working families",
you can buy anything.
And, of course, this issue isn't only -- or even mostly -- about "laws".
