This was better as the kind words about "John" were almost certainly directed more at late actor Drake Hogestyn - Booster Brady's speech on "John's eyebrow" acting antics alone was worth the price of admission. Meanwhile, barely recovered from his coma, Bo (Peter Reckell) insists upon showing up at John's funeral to give the final speech (which, again, seemed more directed at Hogestyn than "John Black"). I'm guessing today's ep will be the memorial reception after the funeral.

In an interview, Eric Martsolf said that no one was acting in theses scenes. They truly were a sendoff for Drake.
