 Earthquake! In Sensurround!
 
 As a kid, I saw this in theater with the family; I've never bothered
 to re-watch on tv. I did not see The Towering Inferno (by the way, it's
 adapted from two similar novels) in theater and I've seen it once on tv.
 
 I am not a big fan of Irwin Allen disaster movies like The Towering Inferno
 but they typically had John Williams scores, so that's something. Irwin
 Allen had no credit on Earthquake. John Williams was the composer on
 Earthquake.

I saw two sensaround films in the theater.
 
EARTHQUAKE.
They put all kinds of extra mini fridge size speakers up and down the
aisles. I was sitting right next to one. They never fired up once.
Obviously they were supposed to during the jackhammer sequence. There was
no other reason for it. But nothing.
 
Then I saw BATTLESTAR GALACTICA in the worst theater in town, the Cine
Crappy.  It ran an extremely audible rumble constantly through the entire
film. It was very tiresome.

I went to a movie with Jennifer Simpson in high school. That was an entirely
different sensurround!
