Back on-topic; we watched the first episode of "Ironheart" on
Disney+ last night... it's very slow and a little bit dumbed
down. There wasn't a lot of excitement in the first episode
to grip me...

I liked her stealing the suit and flying to Chicago, but that
was about it

And THAT was about the only exciting thing in the first episode!
Mrs Blueshirt was delighted to see Atwater from
Chicago PD in it though, in a very small role. (Chicago PD is
one of her favourite shows.) But overall we both found it a
bit dull and slow paced. We might get to watch the second
episode later tonight...

"Ironheart" can't be as bad as "The Acolyte" though so we'll
surely manage to get through the first three episodes at some
stage and hopefully it livens up a bit by the time the next
three episodes drop.

I’ve fallen asleep during episode two twice now.

Yeah, the pacing in episode two never improved... "Ironheart" is
fairly dull to watch. We didn't bother with another episode
after that as the football was on... we might not go back to it
either, as neither of us are impressed with it. These
slow-builds are taking the audience for granted, there needs to
be something to keep you watching... "Ironheart" is not doing
that for us. They could have made one episode out of the first
two and had the same content minus the sleepy bits.

Fell asleep for a third time during episode two last night. Maybe I should
just keep this handy as a sleep aid.
Isn't this supposed to be a six episode "limited" series? At least that's what the ad I saw for it said.
