I wish I hadn't.  The leads didn't standout but weren't horrible.  There
were a few good bits but they were overwhelmed by the tasteless parody
"jokes".  (Like Supergirl making a cameo at the end to pick up her dog.
So drunk she walked thru the wall complaining that the door had been
moved.  As she leaves Superman comments that she likes to party on red
sun planets because she can't get drunk under a yellow sun.  *face
palm*)  I suspect Gunn is trying to sabotage the DCU reboot.  He succeeded.

 

The Supergirl stuff is straight from the comics.

The new Supergirl movie is already filmed and releasing next year.

Interesting to see the different reactions. Here's the positive
reaction from a Superman fan. He admits it has some flaws but is
mostly positive. Oh, and there aren't any spoilers to worry about
other than stuff that was already in the trailers:

This is a multiday catch up.  Over the last few days I watched:
The Bear (Hulu) I finished out the horrible season 4.  This season was a true mess.  One episode was just a bunch of celebrities, who obviously wanted to be on the show, sitting around talking.  I think they have an episode like that every season.  Or at least since the show took off.
Murderbot (AppleTV+) - "The Peremieter" - A lackluster season finale that I guess wraps everything up.  The finale was the living embodiment of meh.  Did they run out of money or something?
Foundation (AppleTV+) - "A Song for the End of Everything" - Season 3 premier.  THe show does a time jump 150 years further into the future, and yet keeps the same cast.  The plot shifts to the Foundation now being established a power in its' own right that almost rivals what remains of Empire.  They are still the big bad, but they've basically been forced to leave the Foundation alone as it continues to expand. Pilou Asbæk joins the series as the new Big Bad, "The Mule" who plans to conquer both Foundation and Empire.  This episode wraps up just as Foundation and Empire begin to realize there's a new threat out there that may be coming after both of them.
I Know What You Did Last Summer (4K disc) 1997 horror movie that rode "Scream's" coattails to success.  The movie stars a group of young 90s stars who hit a man on the road and when they realize he's still alive decide to finish the job and dump his corpse in the ocean.  A year later someone mysterious comes back looking for revenge.
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (4K disc) 1998 cash grab sequel which finds the survivors from the first movie once again facing off someone with a killer grudge, and the patience to wait a full year before striking.
