contempt for women is not going to change his attitude of contempt just
from having such a discussion.

Agreed!! The *sole* purpose of this exercise is to make it IMPOSSIBLE for them to claim they didn't know it was a prosecutable offence to molest woman.

The problem is that where they come from,
women have no autonomy and cannot go out in public without supervision
from a father, husband, brother, or other male relative. Furthermore,
they come from a sexually-repressed society.
 They show up in Germany in which young women are free to walk around
unsupervised, who show a lot of skin and generally do not repress their
sexuality. The perpetrator who has likely never had sex sees nothing but
sinful behavior. These women are not human beings so raping them means
that the perpetrator has not committed a crime against a person.
 

If, at some future time, they are implicated in some kind of
molestation, whether it is pulling down a woman's swimsuit in the pool
or rape or anything else, their recording can be vital evidence in court
showing that they DID know that these behaviours were not cool and went
ahead anyway. Then they can be imprisoned and/or deported and no one can
play the "poor little lamb just didn't know it was wrong" card.

 But it's not the perpetrator who is claiming that he cannot be
prosecuted for the criminal act on the basis of having grown up without
Western values. Those making the claim are Germans, who grew up WITH
Western values, who damn well know better.

Agreed. Such Germans would surely dial back their concern that the immigrant simply didn't know it was wrong to harass women if they saw a recording of the immigrant saying clearly that he knows that such and such actions ARE illegal and prosecutable and potentially grounds for deportation. Those Germans are the ones being educated via this exercise. Once it is clear to them that the immigrant was acquainted with the rules, their level of sympathy for the offenders should be significantly reduced although some of the bleeding hearts will surely concoct still more preposterous theories about how the whole process still isn't fair and is racist.
The education for the immigrant who commits these offenses comes in the form of the rumour mill - hearing about his friend Achmed who just got sent to the slammer for 10 years and his friend Mohammed who just got deported - and in his own reality where HE gets fined/imprisoned/ deported for his own actions. I feel sure the word will get out then that Germans are serious about prosecuting offenses so he'd better keep his paws off the women.
