I find the food delivery tips being based on the value of the food (before
coupons or deals) extraordinarily annoying. The guy brought a bag from the
restaurant to my house. It’s the same amount of time and effort for him if
it’s a bag of french fries or a multi hundred dollar fillet mignon.

But that wouldn't maximize their income. After all if you can afford a
$500 Wagyu dish you can clearly afford a $100 tip.
