Her entire school had a Cultural Diversity Day and all students were
told to wear something celebrating her own culture instead of the usual
school uniforms so she wore a dress that was essentially a British flag.
She was an A student but found herself punished for her choice of
clothing - along with other students - and her parents were called to
pick her up early.

 She's such a sweet child. How can any teacher wish to punish her?
 This is such a sad story. The girl actually liked school and was
thriving. I hope she learned her lesson but I have no idea what it might

That the school systems in Western countries has been infiltrated by wrong-headed political activists acting to utterly destroy the existing culture in favour of some form of neo-Marxism?

Her parents were not at all happy and her community was very agitated as
well. The school gave an after-the-fact "apology" where they promised to
reconsider how the event was run the next year. I'll believe that when I
see it!

 A lawsuit needs to be filed against the school administration banning
them from every being within 50 feet of a child.

A lot of the commenters would agree with you. They seem to be equally torn between suing the school and firing the headmistress and/or teachers. I'd be happy with either or both.
