The local ABC affiliate had a story about this company called Roblox that uses AI to determine if a potential user is under 13, for those kid-oriented sites that can attract an undesirable element looking to take advantage. You do a selfie when you register, turn your head in various directions and the AI takes it from there. They admit it's not a perfect system but they can get pretty close to someone's actual age -- or at least someone way over 13.
