This is such a sad story. The girl actually liked school and was
thriving. I hope she learned her lesson but I have no idea what it might
be.

The trouble is in the UK the "lesson" is more and more becoming that
there's one rule for immigrants (especially Muslim immigrants) andE
native Brits.

And god help the Brit who insists on a difference between properly
landed immigrants and those who just take a boat from France without
legal entrnace to Britain.
Douglas Murray pointed out that you're damned if you do and damned if you
don't with these things. If the girl shows up dressed honoring her own
culture, she's a white supremacist. If she shows up dressed as another
culture, she'd be condemned for cultural appropriation.
Exactly.
It's amazing how the immigrants who Britain allowed in have somehow transformed themselves so that THEY are the ones setting all the rules. And all their rules insult the British at every opportunity!
It's really not surprising that so many Brits express their frustration towards ungrateful immigrants whose focus seems to be trashing their hosts.
As "Bob Vylan" told concert-goers at this year's Glastonbury festival (along with leading them in a chant of "Death death to the IDF!") "So you want your country back? Well it's not going to happen!" This was broadcast live on the BBC and caused such a furore that the BBC apologized for airing it. But of course the BBC champions that sort of statement so it's hard to take their apology seriously.
