I don't actually have a link to a newspaper article yet. I just stumbled
on a live stream about his death but it's ending so maybe wait a few
minutes and they'll hopefully leave it so that it can be replayed....

On a personal note, I definitely appreciated Black Sabbath back in the
day. I've got the first four albums and still listen to them on occasion
(via YouTube) and appreciate them.

I've never pretended to understand Ozzy as a person or what drove him.
His slurred speech always made him seem massively impaired every time I
saw an interview with him - or a clip from his reality show - but he
couldn't have lived this long if he was *that* drunk/stoned could he so
maybe he wasn't actually as wasted as he seemed. But you can't deny that
he made a memorable front man, both of Black Sabbath and of his solo band.

R.I.P. Ozzy!
If Ozzy Osborne can make it to 76, then I think anyone can!!
Except he was pickled from the inside by all that booze in his twenties ... and thirties, and fourties, and fifties, and sixties, and seventies.  ;-)
