My Rhino Tormented disc is rotted

So my Tormented DVD from the Rhino 11
box set rotted and I can't access any
part of the episode after 68 minutes.
It's said this was manufactured by
Warners and a lot of Warners DVDs made
from 2006-2008 rotted.

So I bought the Shout Factory version,
so that's going to be my next episodes
to watch.

The last episodes I watched were Night
of the Blood Beast and Attack of the
Giant Leeches, as they were extras on
a Blu-ray from Film Masters I got.
The MST3K episodes on that blu-ray
are substantially lower quality than on
the regular DVDs, through bad processing,
making the movements jittery. The main
program of Night Of The Blood is also
wrecked by noise reduction, and there are
pulsating backgrounds like I've seen on
bad bootlegs. Attack is in better quality,
though now I don't remember.

So I take it that "Film Masters" is the
same as Film Detective in that their
products are muffled by so-called "noise
reduction". It's this intrusive re-engineering
that spoils so much video and audio.
