**Well, it seems a better system could be devised. Ours seems to work quite well. However, voting is compulsory over here. Which people really don't seem to mind too much. And, like the US, voting irregularities are virtually non-existent. That said, voting, in Australia, seems to be rather different to the US system. The 'Democracy sausage' is a common sight at most polling booths. Usually, the BBQ is operated by a charitable group, such as Rotary or The Lions and a nice time is had by most.
Is George still around? Everyone seems to have disappeared.
