In 1991, Sean Lennon's remake of his father's "Give Peace A Chance" was released to coincide with the United Nations' midnight deadline for Iraq to withdraw from Kuwait. The lyrics were updated to reflect concerns of the 1990s. -- from today's Boston Globe I can see the importance of these international events, but were Sean Lennon's antics really newsworthy? I wasn't aware of them at the time. Also, I would bet they were induced by Yoko. Anyway, I never heard Sean Lennon's version of "Give Peace a Chance," and I'll see if it's available online.
