I believe most of these concertos were originally composed with another
solo instrument in mind? So the (very busy) D minor 1052 has been
transcribed back for violin - not sounding very persuasive IMHO. It's
not a fave of mine in any form - my bad.
AFAIK all those harpsichord concertos are arrangements of concertos for
other instruments. 1052 seemed to be an exception, but indeed, there are
"reconstructions" (and recordings) for violin. Also a version for organ
and strings.
1052 however is my favorite harpsichord concerto.
