It may also have been something that sounds like Beethoven 6, put
together by the composer of the soundtrack.
Beethoven F major symphony is in a way 'classical music central', in
that a lot of other classical era music sounds a bit like it.
Even one of Haydn's London symphonies has a bit that has the same sound
and feeling.
