Surprised a record collector like you did not list this as by the Four

Yeah I guess I forgot. But I'm intrigued at your constant description of
me as a "record collector". To fit that description i'd really need to
be adding items to my record shelves regularly. So when do you suppose
was the last time I added anything?

Have you sold things out of your collection?

At your age you should be selling everything. You have all the music now
on MP3s. Why keep things that your heirs won't know what to do with
after you're gone?

YOu answer my question then I'll answer yours

You don't have to be an active record collector to remain a record
collector. Even if you haven't added anything to your collection in 30
years, you can still be a record collector.

No no this is getting ridiculous

You seem to have some fetish in constantly describing me as a "record
collector" and then ascribing to me all the various things that a
collector should or should not do.

I will decide whether I'm a collector or not--not you and not anybody
else.

I began to accrue a substantial collection of favorite records in the
60's but have not added much to it in several following decades and in
recent years have sold off a very substantial part of my collection.
Therefore by anyone's measure the word "collector" in the current
situation does not apply and the person who decides that is me.

OK glad to put you right on that point,no problem
Okay, based on what you described I agree that you are no longer a
record collector, but you still subscribe to lots of record collector
beliefs, such as making the Battles only about singles. Only record
collectors care about what format a song was issued on and only record
collectors separate songs on singles from songs only on albums.
And I don't agree that only the person being labeled gets to decide if
that label is correct or not. If that were true then Trump would get to
decide whether or not he is a narcissist and nobody else's opinion would
matter.
