 What came up on the news tonight is that Matt Gaetz is resentful about being charged with procuring under-aged girls for his own sexual gratification. The case is still active, and even a Republican Senate may have doubts about confirming him as AG.
 

Crime in the US went way up in 2020 and has gone back to declining for years; every major city is safer than it was in the 90s, but the right spent billions on telling people crime is worse than ever, which is a tack that works pretty well on many American citizens.
How the average Trump voter expects a Trump administration to reduce crime lower than the lowest it's been in decades is unclear but it's about <feels>
