The slight modification of time t in the statement of the problem to shut up smart aleck dickheads about latency in arrival of explosion effect, would be this:
1- what would be the coordinates of the point in the sky, that the missile with the weakest warhead needs to explode at, at time (t -delta), to damage all those 5 fighter jets critically enough, by the time t?
2- within what maximum radius of that explosion, any fighter jet would get critically damaged by the time t?
Delta is the time required for damaging effects of the explosion to reach all five jet fighters by the time t. It is determined by the missile's own software and is not part of this problem.
