Go listen to Donna Summer’s classic “I Feel Love”. It was called “disco”
at the time, but there was sown the seed of techno.
I think Nina Hagen's Zarah was first, not Donna Summers. Or could be that I heard of Donna Summers' song a few years after it got out. I'm not sure now.
