It is peace time for the majority of Iran's customers, and what has been selling far better than Shahed 136 is the Mohajer-6 :)

It is economical (can be reused over and over). Shoots missiles precisely to your targets. Then comes back and lands in your modest airfield :) You reload them in a jiffy and they're like two hours earlier ready to go do your jobs for you.
>
It does reconnaissance. It attacks. Destroys soft expensive and/or important targets. Cargo planes full of military equipment on their way to your enemy. Passenger planes boarding your important enemies. Fueling planes up in the sky in war time. Fighter jets that are on the ground and not inside bunkers. Your enemy with the nerve to have his daily ice cream outside the bunker. Etc, and etc.
>
Reusable! Cheap! Effective! War or peace time use.
>
That's why it sells even better than Shahed 136 and 131. Much better.
>
Israeli and American paid and trained terrorists got rude again? Just one of these Mohajers goes beyond the borders, finds their den, then blows ten or twelve of them into pieces with its two missiles. They did just that in pakestan a week ago in fact. 30 kills. 45 injuries. Mohajer follows your enemies anywhere, discovers stuff about them, then leave it to you to decide what to do with them :)
>
They keep the "pests" in line :-)

And hey, it is peace time, right? So use it for agricultural data gathering, or earthquake damage analyses, or flood damage estimates, city and dams and business developments. Sky is the limit. Lot's of departments in any government in the world can use these machines for gathering important data; vital data in fact. So do the universities and research centers. It is not for just military purposes.
>
So Mohajer 6 is definitely not Shahed 136. It does not have to carry destructive loads. It has far more uses than a Shahed 136.
>
And Iran's customers know how to divide :) Hehe :) Your customers don't. Oh believe me on that. Iran's customers can buy 350 Mohajer-6 drones with the price of one Israeli Hermes 900. They make that "division", and choose the 350 of Mohajer-6 over a single Hermes 900 that will sometime later be shot down anyway :-)
>
Mohajer-6 costs just $20000. Anyone can buy it. You can buy a car, right? Then you can buy a Mohajer-6! Price of a second hand car in fact. Or a new base model. Could be even less, as I don't know what goes these days with the crazy prices of cars. Hermes 900 is $7M each... When one of them is shot down it makes it to the news. So which one do _you_ choose between the two drones? Both do more or less the same things for you. And both within the same time span will get shot down.
>
What is 350 times ($7M - $20k) ? ... Hehe :)
>
Can you at least multiply and subtract? By the time all your 350 drones have been shot down, you've saved this much money compared with using Hermes drones.

Here is a shot showing its size.

It can carry four missiles or smart bombs. Two of them under each wing. But the majority of its missions require only two missiles cause its targets are often soft. The early Mohajers used Austria's Rotax engine but that source stopped supplying them to Iran. Iranians have since changed the engine with one that's locally made, making it even cheaper.
>
It is a jewel. Multifaceted as any Iranian device is. Has grabbed and owned most of the markets that Hermes ever aimed at. Only a few Arab nut jobs order Hermes these days. And that's in return for some favor that the seller has to assume.
>
No wonder Israelis don't even mind their Hermes getting shot down. They have the same feelings about them as Americans have about their MQ-9... Hehe :) The insane hassle of paying so much for them and losing them to some tiny Houthi or Hezbollah device has indirectly forced them to get rid of them in action. It seems so anyway.
>
Mohajer 6 won the world market against both!

If it is absolutely necessary to have maximum payload for some operation, two more missiles or smart bombs can be added under the body itself. But for such missions the purpose gets close to that of one for a Shahed 136, which considering the price of 6 missiles, gets cheaper than using Mohajer-6 for the operation. But the option is there anyway, to take in a pinch.
Anyway, ... It's even being used in the American continent now. And Ukrainians are fucked by it every single day :-) Hehe :) Yearning to be Bitches sure costs you!
It is crazy how Ukranians turned out to be. They're so backward in politics and world-view. They don't know history. They don't know much, period. They thought USA and Europe is it. What a gross mistake. Very costly too.
Future will not be in "USA and Europe". One day every single one of you will understand this. And then you get extinct as a species.

But what hunts these types of drones? Well, I don't think it is publicized what Israelis and Americans use in shooting them down. They do regularly shoot them down. Whatever it is that they use, here I bet my boots that is far more expensive than Mohajer-6. So Mohajer's operation is a win-win project, inflicting net harm regardless of outcome of its mission.
But what Houthis and Hezbollah of Lebanon have been using to hunt Hermess and MQ-9s are well known. This amazingly successful SAM (Surface to Air Missile) little missile is nothing other than the "mysterious" 358 :)
https://i.postimg.cc/022nV0b9/358-4.jpg
Although it is a "missile", it is at the same time _loitering! And if its first attempt to bring a Hermes or MQ-9 down fails, it turns back and tries again. And it tries and tries and tries until it destroys the drone!...
Iran, for some reason, is not willing to talk about this "358". This name itself was given to it by enemies of Iran. So Iran has not even declared its existence. It's been around for more than 10 years though. I think there is a probability that it was either copied or reverse engineered from another nation's similar weapon without permission. That could explain the secrecy. And that "nation" is not USA or Israel, as Iran doesn't give a fart to use copies of the latter two weapons. They're useless for Iranians anyway. Too expensive, too idiotically designed just to milk their own governments.
At this point I neither know which country developed the original one, nor what features exactly that one had. It might also be totally Iranian from stage 0 and on. What is known for sure is that if there was an original non-Iranian one, Iran must've done a number of modifications on it because its features were closely studied by Americans and Israelis to see how they could keep their drones safe from it, and nothing helped them :) It still brings down their super expensive drones.
The picture I gave above itself is of the one that was hit in Iraq's sky and was subsequently given to Americans.
What it needs to launch is just this:
https://i.postimg.cc/VvSVH9kG/358-5.jpg
Hehe :) As simple as that!
358 is a jewel of ideas, features, and design. It is a two-stage missile. It doesn't need anything else for launching than what you see above. And all you need is the approximate area of the target and what the target is. You give that data to it right before launch then the rest is done by the missile itself. It _finds_ its target. It can loiter for hours finding it! Then spends as long as it needs to kill it. Once it is released, something of yours out there is doomed. You just don't know it yet. It detonates 20 kg of explosives in that drone's stomach. More than half of the explosives create directional fragmentation in case the hit is not exact, and here is where 16 directional sensors that it has come into play. Immediately after a "miss" is detected, if target is close enough the explosives go off.
358 is your drones' demon. Delivered to your midst by Iranians who sit and think it out while you Nazis are reading Penis X _advertorials_!
You can't distract it with something cheaper either. It is programmed not to get distracted. It is quite capable of distinguishing between different "targets" and this is part of the original data given to it right before launch. Plus, if it sees more than one target similar to what it's pursuing, it notifies other 358's loitering in the area _of_ them and gives them their approximate locations, and continues its own mission. On the other hand, if no target is found in the designated area, it loiters until it finds another target of opportunity.
It adjusts its speed for various situations and stages, can travel both supersonic and subsonic. If drag is unusual (strong winds, etc) it adjusts to it by using its micro turbojet propulsion system. So blowing stuff around your aircraft or close to this missile is kind of "ineffective." It maintains course.
It is truly a fire and forget device.
Your drones cannot become aware of its existence in time :) It does not emit radar signals. It finds and locates its targets by laser. It has multiple target engagement features too :) Remember I made a math baby problem of it in my other blog. If initial input indicated multiple targets in the area, then when more than one target will be in an area close enough to each other, this missile can compute the spot at which it should go and get detonated to down all or more than one of the targets at once.
Commodore 64 had 8 independent chips to compute 8 objects' positions and tracks simultaneously. And that was what... more than 40 years ago. And yet today Russia can successfully take advantage of multiple drones in attacking Ukraine, and Israel cannot deal well with multiple missiles coming down on them. So the defensive stuff Americans have placed there in Ukraine and what Israel has for its air defense don't even meet what could be done 40 years back.
Nobody could answer my baby problem here either. In a _physics_ forum.
But forget all that. More importantly, I don't know what you Bozos have done to your "Hermes" and MQ-9s since 1915 to keep them safe after you studied the 358 design, but to this day, and as lately as last week in fact, 358 is bringing your drones down. That's more than 9 years since. Iran is getting better than you Nazis. Tell this to your Bitches too.
