Ok, ... The realities have begun to seep out in this strange struggle.
Looks like the incident with Iran's President and Foreign Minister has been a calculated one. They had caused the failure in seizing the opportunities offered by China to be part of their long-term future supplier of oil. China preferred the independent Iran over Saudi Arabia, but Raisi's administration proved to be unresponsive to China's efforts.
This was the biggest issue for this administration to deal with, because Iran's decision-making structure itself is divided over such long-term futures. About half of them, the traditional West-leaning thinkers (I'm going to call them Conservatives although that's not how they're named in Iran), think that Iran is safer with major relations with known and well-studied culprit superpowers than with the new inexperienced China. The other half, the risk-takers (I'll call them Progressives, again despite they being called in Iran quite differently), think exactly the opposite.
This administration began work _seemingly_ with the intention to satisfy the Progressives and people backing them. That's how they won the elections. All my folks in Iran, practically anyone I'm still in touch with, had changed side for that and voted for Raisi's admin exactly for the purpose of cutting ties with Nazis and Global Pests. But in action, this admin proved they were serving the Conservative side in Iran. Result is that China went to their second option, the Saudis, and began creating that "Oil City" (or whatever they call it) with them, and placed their remaining eggs as far as oil was concerned inside that basket. This admin _let_ the chance go.
When the Progressives realized that the chance was gone, they got rid of the culprits that had fooled them. Probably a tiny little bomb somewhere inside the helicopter where the pilots were. Too little to cause destruction of the helicopter, but enough to cause the pilots to lose the controls for a few seconds.
Conservatives aren't and weren't that fool to have decided to act that way regarding China's offer. Their logic is like, "Let's have Saudi Arabia test China, not Iran." This has two important advantages of course. It keeps Iran safe from unknown future behavior of China. And it provides several steps for Saudi Arabia to walk into that new pathway, _away_ from Nazis and Global Pests. So this type of thinking points to a quite _regional_ way of seeing the future, not a way just for Iran. It might be the correct view too. And they _did_ act according to that view also.
But Progressives want to leave Nazis and Global Pests behind and forever, with _any_ risk or even cost involved. They wanted to get what China had offered to Iran.
China's need for oil is huge. Russia alone, which has sold even the future 30 years of its oil to China, cannot and couldn't satisfy the demand. China needed more, and Iranian Progressives wanted to get the contracts for the remaining Chinese demands for oil. They did everything for that, even changed sides and voted for such promises. But Raisis team promised that and then slowly let it go to Saudis, not Iran. Essentially doing exactly what the Conservative camp wanted.
But what good would a little bomb the size of a cigarette lighter do? It looks, at first, to be doing nothing. But without doubt, it also talks to the Conservative side. "You fool the Iranians, you die!"
So next time, for important Iranian issues, Conservatives will know in advance that it would be their lives if they commit to such Machiavellian methods and intrigues.
You can do that all the time to people in the USA and Europe, and get away with them too. But in Iran, fooling people in such deceptive ways costs your life.
 That's what happened.
Note that neither deals with China, nor complete loss of such opportunities, are totally over for Iran. In fact Iranians are now busy to place their own men in there to push Iran towards increasing relations with China. The big deal has now gone to Saudi Arabia, but the rest of opportunities are there to jump on.
Nazis and Global Pests have always been better for the Conservatives in Iran. This isn't anything new. They know each other very well. They have decades and decades of experience in that. Both sides. Nothing is totally unknown about them. But Iranians want more, cause they're not happy. It doesn't provide enough for them. And as you see, they'll literally kill you if you keep blocking them while saying otherwise.

Ok, got time to add what I didn't get a chance to jot down.
It wasn't just the oil deal that was offered to Iran by China, and this admin gave it away to another nation in the region. There was also the Silk Road which was to cross Iran, but later were changed to Pakestan-Afghanestan-Russia route plan, again directly as a result of this admin's deliberate inaction allowing it to happen, while saying otherwise to Iranian people.
The two deals were major for Iran to have, but unfortunately also major for the nations in the region other than Iran to have, so they could take the first steps towards true independence from Nazis and Global Pests.
Now after what's done on both sides of Iranians involved in this, Iran's government-controlled media is trying to hide the facts about the helicopter crash using false arguments. They're saying the most likely reason was the downward mountain air drift, which sometimes happens. But the arrangement for the three helicopters in that formation easily shows this was not the cause.
Presidential helicopters in Iran are always flown according to a certain protocol. There are always three of them that follow each on the exact same path, keeping the same distance, with the middle one having the President inside; and the three helicopters have slightly different altitudes. The front one is flying higher than the middle one, and the third one is flying lower than the middle one. I don't know the reasons for that formation, but that's their protocol.
These differences in altitude and distance from each other are quite minor. If a downward drift in air itself had taken place, all three should've lost altitude when fog prevented them from visually detecting the descend, not just the middle one. In the case of that crash, they are saying only the middle helicopter encountered the downward drift, which obviously isn't sound reasoning. The pilot in the middle one was also the pilot telling the two other pilots what to do. He actually told both of them to immediately increase altitude so they could get above the clouds to gain visibility. The two other machines easily climbed above the clouds and the middle one, with the main pilot at the control, didn't make it and hit the mountain. Doesn't make sense.
So I think by all probability a small fire-causing bomb was placed in the pilot area of the middle helicopter, and were made to go off over mountainous area of the journey as soon as the other two helicopters could not visually see what was happening to the middle helicopter.
This was an insider job. People who joined this administration for the realization of goals they'd promissed to the public, and then had betrayed them. The bomb may've been placed there weeks back, or more, waiting for the opportunity. It isn't that long that China went to Saudis for the deal, and opted to the Pakestan-Afghanestan route to Russia, inadvertently bringing into open the present admin's actual intentions as opposed to what they were saying in the media about it. I myself followed that matter closely from day one when China offered them, and I didn't know Iran had done nothing about it until China changed to Saudis for oil, and to Pakestan-Afghanestan route for other goods. The true intentions of the new admin came out after Iran had lost both deals. And I think that's approximately when the bomb was planted.
The very root of the problem is this. The majority of Iranians, proven by the last election results, want to mind their own business and leave regional issues with Nazis to the regional countries themselves. The Conservative minority of course always have thought regionally and haven't missed the opportunities to fight Nazi and Global Pests vile and destructive influences in the entire region. They must've evaluated the benefits of Chinese deals for Iran alone, against that of the region when Saudis and Pakestan and Afghanestan, all three, get their chances to truly walk some steps away from Nazis and Global Pests' grip.
So all Iranians want the same thing. There's not a single Iranian inside and outside Iran left that has a favorable view of Nazis and Pests. But the Progressives want Iran cut all ties with Nazis first, while the Conservatives act more "conservatively" and opt for taking advantage of incoming opportunities to act against Nazis regionally as well, when results are most effective.
The latter argue that Iran is independent enough as it is at the moment, and it is the rest of the region that needs to begin moving towards such independence.
This is what's at the root of the problem. It is a difficult one, and both sides have very good arguments to make. But resorting to even Machiavellian methods to get their jobs done against the votes of the majority of Iranian people? That's questionable, and they paid the price. Sure, they're "martyrs" in the best sense of the word. But also dead! You can't do that to Iranians.
Another fundamental question at the root of this matter is China itself, as I pointed out above.
China as a superpower has been offering Iran a new form of relation. A different one from others. Much opposed to the usual war-based relations that the Nazis and Global Pests have with literally all other nations in the world, China has been going all over the world offering this new "peace-based" economic relations with all nations.
It might look good the first time you look at such offers and ideas, but Iranians don't forget that Americans' "freedom" nonsense also sounded good to them prior to 1977, and turned out to be nothing but rubbish. So Conservatives believe this Chinese formula of "peace-based economic relations" can easily turn out to become just another rubbish of the same kind. Certainly the possibility is there.
This has been the subject of countless discussions and thoughts and institutional efforts of all sorts in the past few years in Iran. It has been one of the reasons I read the news of Iran at all. Conservatives have two important and valid points as I described, and the Progressives only want the end of the painful situation that economic conditions have created for them; and prefer that option against giving that chance to already rich and comfortable Arabs just so that they get independent of the Nazis. So the latter also has a quite valid point.
And Nazis, as you know, have been economically pressing Iranians, thinking they can make them destroy the Conservatives, while Conservatives get their jobs done regardless, even if they lose their lives doing it. Right at this moment, it is _their_ measures that are being carried out in the region, not those of the Iranians that stupid Nazis are counting on.
Good deals, again, find their way to come to Iran in the future, and all Iranians will benefit from them, but the matter of independence of Saudi Arabia and Pakestan and Afghanestan does not come true buy itself. You have to actively lead them there. Help them with, until they could do that on their own. It is a safer way for Iranians as well, hence what the "Conservatives" have been doing.
