What he said there (exactly 6.5 months after start of the war) was not his own feelings and convictions alone. Every Iranian in the war torn area felt and believed it. Every one of them across Iran as well, and all those in other countries, including myslelf going to school in USA.
It is the people that matter, FIRST. If you have "tribes" for your people, you'll never govern yourself all by yourselves. You will never know "sovereignty". Look at Syria. Look at Israel. You see what I'm pointing at. All those Wahhabis.. :(
Iranians had sovereignty over Iran at the time of that speech. Iraqis didn't. They were being propped by Soviets and Americans and Europeans and anything and everything in between. So they lost. Iran lived. Saddam's Iraq is gone.
- Guess what. Just now Assad's government rejected Iran's offer of bringing over two brigades of regular forces to fight. They believe it will remove last remnants of Syrians loyalty to Assad and forces Israel to enter the war inside Syria.
If you ask me, Israel _and_ Russia must've threatened Assad against accepting Iran's help in return for some form of favor, because two brigades of Iranians under their noses will fuck designs of both of them in Syria. Russia sees Syria its own the way Americans see Ukraine their own.
Interesting.
Iran has not taken back her offer though. In fact they are still trying to convince Assad that he should accept Iran's regular military forces inside Syria.
This has threatened Russia so much that they're now they've begun bullshitting, claiming, "those terrorist forces are anti-American, so Russia can live with them after Assad." Hehe :) Pure bullshit. That's how afraid they are right now.
It might be just the $70 B of 10 years back dollars at play, who knows, or, Iran wants to get Syria to have a better look at your and Russians' "Israel" :-) Hehe :) If Iran gets established in Syria, Iraq will join right away, and the real issues come up clearly visible. So we'll see.
Not a dull moment when a party in this is Iran. No? Iran is no "Bitch" country.
What does Assad think right now? Assad is 10 times more willing to have Russia at his back than Iran. He fears Iran might prove not to be strong enough. But these same Russians are pulling the carpet from underneath Assad's feet by siding with "anti-American" terrorists in Syria.
So after you subtract bullshit from Russia's talks, you can see that Russia prefers Americans influence in Syria compared to Iranian influence.
I can only think of one reason for it. Cro-magnons prefer cro-magnon enemies over Modern Human friends. They fear less of cro-magnon enemies. I understand that.
Now, don't forget the Wahhabis. What do they want in Syria? They offered Assad money and privileges and acceptance etc, only if he'd kiss Iran and Hezbollah goodbye. So they're part of Americans' camp, nothing more. They didn't quite succeed with Assad, but they did prevent him from opening the Golan heights front against Israel when the latter attacked Lebanon.
Another thing is that Iran's drones over Syria right now are of the stealth type (Shahed 171, which is based on Sentinels). Not easy to get detected. This shows Iran does not trust Syria and Russia at this point, otherwise Mohajer's would do great by themselves to gather information. Terrorists on the ground, on the other hand, are more than willing to get detected. It would be an effective form of advertise how fast they've moved. So I don't think Iran was worried about terrorists shooting them down. They think Syrians and Russians may do that!
Syrians, pro or against Assad, are pissed at him. No matter whose fault, not much was done in 5 years of peace... Syria is still in rubbles. Golan is still in Israel's hand. Terrorists are still inside Syria intact. This can explain a number of very odd clues.
Here's one: Assad forces didn't even fly the fighter jets out of Hamah when retreating! They left them there to fall into hands of the "armed opposition". I think the whole air force then has been conducting a silent coup against Assad. This can't be just incompetence. They're pissed at him.
What did Assad do wrong? My guess is that there is no in-between position between American Nazis and Iran which Assad can take. He tried that hard in the past 5 years and see what it led to. You either fight Satan or you are a goner. Fighting Satan cannot be done half-assedly.
That's my view of it.
Syria's way out of this shit was to concentrate on creating fighting forces to get back Golan Heights from Israel. That would enhance Syrians' self-image and their respect for Assad. There are matters that cannot be left unfinished. Their existence alone shows you're not fit to be there.
Lot's of what I jotted down may indicate I do not approve of Assad. This is not the case. He is a heck of a man in fact, and has proven that multiple times. But his people are now showing weakness compared to him. The people are being influenced by Satan.
- This head of the "armed opposition", in one interview says he wants to take the war inside Iran, and on another interview says says he wants to have strategic agreements and cooperation with Iran.. Hehe :)
So he is a nobody. Nazis are running this force, and if they win (yes, if! Remember 2011 when the world was saying Assad will soon fall) Syria would be a Bitch state for Nazis, like Jordan, like Egypt, like Israel, and ... you name it.
But something _did_ make my day today, hence this thread. Iran placed two more satellites into orbit using an Iranian new powerful rocket, Simorgh.
Interesting thing about these satellites is that they begin from a 400 km orbit but later are led to 7000 km orbit! You know what goodies are sitting there, don't you.
So Iran wants to hit all that. USA knocks down even Chinese balloons over its skies. Let's see what Iran will destroy over hers.
Right now Iran's space authorities are being bombarded with questions as what the mission for those two satellites are, and they're not getting much in the form of "answers." I guess they're listing who're the ones who are making these questions :)
Simorgh is a two-stage rocket. It is the first time ever Iran launches heavy payloads into orbit by her own rocket. All previous ones were either tiny little things for testing stuff, like a couple of kilograms in weight, or were heavy and had to be launched with Russian rockets.
Simorgh, like anything Iranians make, is multifaceted. It's not just a rocket to launch satellites with :) It is designed to also switch fast into ICBM.
And the name given to it is very telling and appropriate. But you need to be Iranian to fully understand that.
Space sciences is nicely taking its course to get established in Iran. Iran is two decades behind India, but that does not mean it will take Iran two decades to get to where India is now. Iran can get there much faster.
In general, technology and sciences fit better and are done better among Modern Humans compared with cro-magnons. 1.5 thousand years back, Modern Humans encouraged science as a "duty" for them to adopt, while cro-magnons of that time were burning their scientists at the stakes.
And now, cro-magnons are ridiculing their scientists, while Modern Human scientists carry on their "duties" proudly.
