Just another mindless mass shooting...

Calling it: "an attempted assassination" is akin to labeling the one
at the Christmas party at the Inland Regional Center building in San
Bernardino on Dec. 2, 2015 a "terrorist attack".  Terrorist cells
don't attack office Christmas parties and assassins don't spray the
crowd with random gunfire.  The shooter at the Trump rally had no
discernable political motivation... any more than the Sandy Hook
shooter attacked because he didn't like children.

The timing was *great* luck for the Donald!  That was what's called a
"million-dollar wound"... cosmetic, but trivial.  It allows him to
thump his chest.  Even if he had been neutralized, it would not have
been good for the Democrats.  *Any* assassination, whether successful
or not, always boosts the target's public standing.
