Apparently it isn't his either or he would have applied some scientific thought to his argument.
At it's root his argument is:
If criminals can do something bad with something.. everyone should be prevented from being able to have that.
If a women kills her husband with a knife.. ban knives.
If an arson uses a match to light a structural fire.. ban matches
If a bank robber kills someone with the get away car.. ban cars.
The rest of it is just filler and smoke & mirrors to disguise his silly, and frankly stupid, argument.
