"bad performance" may mean "slow", but also may mean memory use much
higher than should be necessary.
I have not chosen a specific class yet. It will be incremental though.
There is a timer or two dedicated in the system for garbage collection. It may be left up to the app to do garbage collection, with timing notifications sent to the app. IRL garbage collection is done periodically.
GC is prevalent in many applications, it should be supported somehow.
