Of course, that is true, but it raises some questions.
Are there fewer younger people interested in computer architecture? I guess this is possible, since the number of new architectures seems to be declining, thus interest might be too.
Are the younger people discussing computer architecture in the way we do, but are doing it in other places? If so, where? I know that web based forums are more "user friendly" than Usenet, but does that explain the difference? Do wherever they are going provide the same quality of discussion that comp.arch does?
