Adding pointless encryption to publicly shared text file is nonsense.
Fix nothing, add complexity and kill compatibility.
I understand cool kids love encryption today everywhere, the same applies to HTTPS or anything else where that useless so called encryption is used.
One may ask if those exploding pagers used encryption and how it matter ;/
Due to encryption gemini is not simple. It's complex way how to read publicly available text file about someone's cat name or favorite anime character.
