You seem to be getting very worked up about it. I don't know about java but
in C++ exceptions are just that - for exceptional circumstances. They're not
supposed to be used as glorified return statements so should be rarely used
anyway so frankly who gives a fuck about sigs?
You convinced me. Let's just get rid of function signatures entirely. It's time to get to basics, the K&R way.
