You seem very touchy - Scott's post was hardly an "inflammatory" statement, regardless of whether it was true or not.  If you are going to venture out in public on the internet, you need a much thicker skin than that.

 And try not to accept future ridiculous claims from Scott
on trust. He's not trustworthy.
 

Scott has a very long reputation in this and related newsgroups, and is very much a trustworthy poster.  It can happen that he is wrong, or has misunderstood, or has forgotten things, or exaggerates - just like the rest of us.  But that is very different from "lying".
If Scott says that you appear to be a big fan of DOS, based on the impression he has got from some other group, then I believe him.  If you say it is not the case, then I still believe that is the impression Scott got from your posts - though it might not be the impression you intended to give, and might not be the whole picture.
