Michael S <already5chosen@yahoo.com> wibbled:
"myriad" means 10,000, coming directly from the Greek. But the
word is usually used to mean "a great many" or "more than you can
count". (It's like the use of "40" in the Bible - I guess the
ancient Greeks were better at counting than the ancient
Canaanites.)

In the Bible?
Or, may be, in imprecise translations of the Bible that confuse
the=20 word =D7=A8=D7=91=D7=91=D7=94 that means 10000 with remotely
similar word = =D7=90=D7=A8=D7=91=D7=A2=D7=99=D7=9D that means
40 ?

Any chance of using utf8 rather than whatever the hell encoding this
is.
It seems, UTF8 is the only option available in the editor of my
newsreader agent. Could it be that your user agent or your usenet
provider is at fault?
I see my message rendered correctly both in my reader and here:

possibly you will need to wait several seconds and probably to refresh
the page several times.
