You've inadvertently created a new member 'z' (it will be an attribute)
on-the-fly. Or this:

Pythons compositional object paradigm alongside the class based OO. You can do
it to a class or an individual object. Its a hacky mess.

  F = 42

It is ridiculously and dangerously dynamic.

Python people would say thats a feature, not a bug.
