The history of developments in mathematics suggests that your "99.99%"
claim is significantly incorrect. (If you'd said, say, "9.99%", my

I'm guessing you don't know the difference between pure maths and applied
maths. The former is chock full of curiosities that one day may be useful
but so far their only use is keeping maths profs entertained.
