Something you might do when you have time (as I'm busy), is to analyse the expressions in some C codebases, and isolate those where removal of parentheses that group terms, would result in exactly the same shape of expressions, and are therefore redundant.This is a strange exercice. They forget that people aren't compilers.
And then the point becomes, if you always add the parentheses, what was the point of having that particular precedence level?
