Guice wouldn't need that feature if Java
natively supported dynamically-scoped variables.

It seems to me the effect can be achieved more simply by allowing
access to instance methods as first-class objects, as you can do in
Python, e.g.

    request_inst = Request(...)
      # class instantiation
    request_meth = request_inst.meth
      # method access

But as usual, Java insists on doing things in a complicated way...
