One question we just came across when thinking about this and we couldn't find an answer:
Assuming we have two INN2 installations on machines more than one hop away from one another, how would be the best way to move a batch from Machine 1 to Machine 3, without an installation of INN on Machine 2 between them.
Would this have to be defined in the send-uucp.cf of INN or rather in the port/sys settings of uucp itself?
I came across this question a few years ago. This would have to be done in send-uucp. But as far as I know send-uucp does not support this. You would have to dive into the the source code of send-uucp and implement it.

ah, pity. I thought that would be easier to manage.
although. I guess one could have a script running to push any batch-files further down the line.
