is there a way to get UUCP running on current Windows systems?
The last time I did UUCP on Windows I did it with Cygwin. That was probably 15 years ago.
I think that WSL has largely supplanted that. I don't know if WSL includes UUCP or if it could be used to compile therein. Nor do I know how graceful interactions with UUCP would be from batch (.bat) and command (.cmd) files.
I was using Windows task scheduler to call command files which were using UUCP from Cygwin to shuffle audio files for me from a system with a radio tuner card. I was recording Prairie Home Companion and Hearts of Space off of the local NPR station.
