When everyone is carrying a gun you can't differentiate between the good

It's the cops that are there spotting those with illegal guns. No waiting
required. You're making the mistake of only considering active shooters.

Maybe in the US the police are too slow/incompetent/cowardly to respond
effectively(see Uvalde, Parkland, et al). In other countries the police are
more professional.

But "muh freedom" is more important. Idiots the lot of them.
