I've noticed that surveyors leave some equipment out overnight or waiting for specific time windows. Maybe a much longer exposure interval is required.
I launch the F-Droid app GPSTest which tunes in a long list of satellites.I tried the GPSaverage app, it's very basic, plots a position on a circular grid every second, you might expect a perfect Gaussian cloud where the centre was the average, but it gives linear streaks which are probably due to the flyover paths of the satellites?
